1 - The minimun age to enrol is 18; younger students ( minimum 16 years of age) are accepted if only in group and/or with an adult group-leader, responsible for them.
2 - For the enrolment of minors, parents must sign the Application Form and contact personally our Linguistic Centre.
3 - Lessons are held from Monday to Friday, usually in the morning; only at certain moments of the year in the afternoon.
4 - After the beginning of the course, if students decide not to attend classes or to shorten their course, they are not entitled to have any refund for classes and accommodation not used.
5 - No lessons will take place on public and religious holidays, as indicated on the Fee section, with no refund for students.
6 - Students coming from countries that require a Visa to study abroad need to contact the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their home country for the right completion of formalities. A Certificate of enrolment is one of the requirements for obtaining a Visa. In order to receive a Certificate of enrolment from a school, students must pay the full tuition fee for the entire period of study. In case of cancellation, from the students’ part, the full fee will be forfeited.
7 - HOW TO ENROL: students must fill in and sign the Application Form, send it to the Associazione Culturale “Le Antiche Torri” along with an advance payment of € 350,00 , as a deposit, or with the full amount of Registration and Tuition fees . The Application Form must arrive, at least, 30 days before the start of the course and proof of payment should be sent or faxed to: Le Antiche Torri, P.zza Perfetti, 22 – 62028 Sarnano (MC) - Italy – Tel./fax : +39 0733 658662. - Enrolment shall be considered valid upon receipt of written confirmation from the Linguistic Centre.
8 - Students who want to take the exams for the Certification of competence in Italian L2, must send together with the Application Form, proof of payment of the exam fees: € 80 for Ele.It; € 160 for all “IT” exams ( 4 parts – each part € 40)
9 - HOW TO PAY: for deposits, balance and Certification fees the following methods of payment are possible:

Postal and Bank charges are to be met by the students.
Please, state clearly student’s name, course title, the level of Certification, the starting dates and the number of weeks, in all forms of payment.
10 - The Balance of the tuition fee must be paid before the beginning of the course or on the very first day of the course.
11 - ACCOMMODATION: accommodation fees are to be paid by the student directly to the owner, upon arrival. Students who wish to leave their accommodation before the end of the reserved period must give the owner 2 weeks notice. There will be no refund for this period.
Shared flat: upon arrival, students must pay the accommodation fee as communicated by our Centre plus a deposit of € 100 to the owner, as a damage caution, refundable at the end of the stay, in absence of any damage.
In a Family or Shared Flat: Students who remain for more than one month and wish to stay in the same accommodation must pay a deposit of € 100 to the owner, within the first week of their arrival, to confirm the reservation for the following period. This amount will be deducted from the final payment. If a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the end of the course the deposit of €100 will not be refunded.
12 - Cancellations: Registration fee and deposits are not refundable.
Cancellation of enrolment must be communicated in writing by a registered letter or fax:
- if it is sent 30 days before the beginning of the course, balance paid will be refunded;
- between 29 and 10 days before the beginning of the course, 50% of the balance paid will be refunded;
- Less than 10 days before the beginning of the course, no refund is due.
For Cancellation after the course has begun the full tuition fee is forfeited. However, in case of enrolment in a course longer than 2 months, the Director will evaluate the possibility of allowing credit for part of the tuition fee.
13 - Deposits and Fees are not transferable to another person.
14 - If a change of type or date of course is required, students must notify the registration office at least 30 days before the beginning of the course. Other changes are at the discretion of the Director.
15 - Course Cancellation: The Linguistic Centre reserves the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of students is not reached.
16 - Responsibility: The Centre is not liable for the loss of personal objects on the premises.
17 - Insurance: Students are advised to take out medical and personal insurance before leaving their home country. Moreover, students are also advised to insure themselves against loss of fees through non-arrival, absence for any reason, or unforeseen termination of their courses.
18 – The Linguistic Centre reserves the right to adjust fees in the event of particular international monetary situations.
