"The GELSO BIANCO " or "WHITE MULBERRY-TREE" Project has been proposed by our Association and carried out in collaboration with the Authorities of MACERATA Province. It allows Italian and Chinese high school students to exchange experiences and ideas, compare uses, customs and way of living.
In December 10th 2006 there was the first exchange visit of a group of Chinese students from Nanjing. They lived for almost two weeks into Italian families and followed some school and social activities in the Secondary Schools of Macerata; they had the opportunity to visit the main Italian Centres of Art: Florence, Pisa Tower, Venice, Rome. The experience was highly enjoyed and appreciated by everybody. From June the 30th 2007 to July the 16th, a group of Italian students , teachers, headmasters and local authorities will return the visit. They will have the opportunity to live in Chinese families and share activities with their Chinese collegues and to visit important towns such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Yangzhou and Beijing.
