Our Language and Research Centre organizes Intensive Courses of Italian, to meet the specific needs of the Chinese students, who on the agreement between and , can enroll on the Italian Universities after following a 6-month course in Italian. The courses also include 2 hours of Spoken English per week, to facilitate the attendance of courses in English in our universities. Our Centre collaborates with Italian universities and institutions specialized in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language and our students can take the Exam for the Certificate of Italian L2 at our premises, according to our AGREEMENT with the Linguistics Department of the "UNIVERSITA' of ROMA TRE". Our Association has also signed AGREEMENTS with the "UNIVERSITA' di CAMERINO" and with the "UNIVERSITA' POLITECNICA delle Information on the procedures and documents necessary to obtain the Visa to come and study in Italy on the basis of "The Marco Polo Project" can be taken at the Italian Embassy in Beijing, the Italian Consulates and the Italian Cultural Institutes in China. ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSE FOR CHINESE STUDENTS Our Linguistic and Research Centre offers to Chinese students, who wish to attend universities in Italy, an intensive Preparatory Course to learn Italian language and have a better knowledge of our culture from March 1st to September 30th 2008. Particularly designed to help them in their studies, the Course is planned according to the latest teaching methodology with lessons in the morning and afternoon, guided cultural visits and social activities in the free time, with a full immersion in the social and cultural reality of our community. Since Italian University Courses may sometimes be run in English, our Preparatory Course includes 2 hrs per week of Basic Spoken English, run by a native speaker. The Cultural Association “Le Antiche Torri” has an Agreement with the University of Ancona and Camerino where the Chinese Students can enter after the Language Course and the obtaining of the Certification of Italian B1 - B2. At the end of the course, the students can take, in our Centre in Sarnano, the Exams for the Certification of Italian L2 ( B1 – B2), internationally recognized, released by the University of Roma Tre (a tax fee is due), necessary to continue their studies in Italian Universities. The Language Exam for the Certification will be taken in our Centre in August and the Certificate can be obtained by the end of August . Since the beginning of September 2008 the students who have passed the Exams for the Certification of Italian L2-B1-B2 can complete their enrolment to the University of Camerino or to the University of Ancona. They can apply to enter any other Italian University during the following Academic years. In Sarnano, from September 1st to September 30th students will attend a Course on Italian Language for Special Purposes according to the university studies they have chosen. ORGANIZATION OF THE MAIN COURSE - MARCH - AUGUST Duration : 6 months - 560 hrs lessons of Italian, according to the Council of Europe from A1 to B2, Preparation : Exams of the Certification of Italian L2 (B1 – B2): 40 hrs lessons Students: groups of 10-15 students max. Lessons: 25 lessons per week, 5 per day, from Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon. LANGUAGE LESSONS FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES: SEPTEMBER Duration: 1 month ( 60 hrs lessons) Preparation: introduction to some important learning strategies and scientific languages Students: groups of 10-15 students max. Lessons: 15 lessons per week, 3 per day from Monday to Friday in the morning LINGUISTIC CONTENTS AND STRATEGIES Teaching activities and linguistic contents are organized according to the dispositions of the Council of Europe common Framework, and weekly scheduled as follows:

The Registration Fee to "Le Antiche Torri" Association - € 350 -, valid for 12 months, includes: In the aim to offer more quality and due assistance, the Association ensures : ACCOMMODATION
The Association "Le Antiche Torri" offers the service of finding lodgings, with 30 days notice at least , near the Linguistic Centre and is always available for any problem that may arise, declining however any responsibility about the relationship between the parts. Accommodation is usually at students’ disposal from the day before the beginning of the course until the morning ( 12,00 o’clock) following the end of the course. The accommodation is arranged in a compound, together with other students. Every flat, fully furnished, with kitchen, living room, bathrooms, two bedrooms and washing machine facilities, can accommodate 3-5 people.The flats are provided with linen and towels, with weekly change and cleaning. Gas, Electricity, Heating are not included, they must be paid accordin to use, a deposit of € 60 will be aked in advance. Accommodation must be paid in advance and in cash, every three months, directly to the owner. Students who wish to leave in advance, must give 2 weeks notice and there will be no refund. On arrival, they must also give € 300 as a deposit against eventual damages. The sum will be refunded at the end of the stay, in absense of damages.
